The acquisition of goods and services is done by ANCP-NAPP in compliance with the Code of Public Contracts approved by Decree-laws 18/2008 of 29th January and 278/2009 of 2nd October and a specific internal regulation adopted by the Board of Directors in November 2008.

In 2009 all acquisitions were carried out under market conditions; all award notices, irrespective of their contract values, were published in the single website for public contracts (www.base.gov.pt). There is not one contractor responsible for more than 5% of the total Supplies and External Services, which stands at over 1 million Euros.
